Guidelines for Creation of Privacy Policies for WOVN.io-Integrated Websites

Wovn Technologies Inc. (“WOVN” or “we”) believes that website administrators and related parties (“WOVN Users”) who use our services to localize their websites will be able to use our services with confidence by, in accordance with the characteristics of their websites, explicitly communicating the following points to visitors of their websites (“Website Visitors”) in the privacy policy of their websites.
* WOVN Users use WOVN.io to localize their websites.
* WOVN Users send information to WOVN.io so that their websites can be localized.
* Website Visitors are able to opt out of sending information through user-side controls.

In these guidelines, we provide recommendations for items to include in the privacy policies that WOVN users make available to Website Visitors.

In light of the importance of privacy protection, we have created these guidelines for the purpose of providing information to WOVN Users, and we assume no responsibility for the legality of privacy policies created by WOVN Users in accordance with this guideline. Please note that WOVN Users must create privacy policies, etc., at their own risk.

1. Disclosure of information collected by WOVN Users and purpose of use

In using WOVN.io, WOVN Users are required to state that they collect and process the following data from the browsers of Website Visitors to localize their websites.

* Text data and URL of images for website localization

WOVN Users send the text data and image URLs generated on the web browsers of their Website Visitors to the area on WOVN.io which is managed by WOVN Users. WOVN Users can use the “ignore extraction” feature to control the sending of data that they determine should not be sent to WOVN.

The data will be used only for the following purposes

1. • To collect content for WOVN Users to use as source data for translation in order to localize their websites.
2. • To query whether or not there is any translation information available in the WOVN.io area managed by WOVN Users for Website Visitors to use the translated contents.

* Cookies and other similar technologies

Cookies are listed in the Cookie Notice – “5. List of Cookies Which May be used on WOVN.io-Integrated websites”.

We use WOVN.io, provided by Wovn Technologies, Inc. for the purpose of localizing our website, and we outsource part or all of the localization. We collect the following information from Website Visitors using the service.

* Text data and URL of images for website localization

We send the text data and image URLs generated on the web browsers of our Website Visitors to WOVN.io for the following purposes.

1. 1. To collect content to use as source data for translation to make our websites localize.
2. 2. To query whether or not there is any translation information available in the WOVN.io area managed by us for Website Visitors to use the translated contents.

* Cookies and other similar technologies

2. Guidance on opt-out of sending information to us

If Website Visitors choose not to have information sent to us, they are able to deny the collection of information by opt-out operations. WOVN Users are required to share information regarding this opt-out feature to Website Visitors in their own privacy policies, etc.
